Lolita: It's amazing how the Spirit of the Lord
works. You and Dr. Copeland crossed my mind just a
few days ago, but I had no knowledge that Dr.
Copeland had transitioned to be with the Lord. He
was a support to me during my tenure as a faculty
member at GSU in the Department of English. As two
of your classmates, Marilyn and I send you our

God' will and our understanding of His will, through our trusting religious and spiritual beliefs, greatly helps us to take-on, to cope-with the inevitability of being human. Since "to be absent from the body, is to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ," the late Dr. Birdex Copeland, as a living man, will be greatly missed. He was a "give you all I have to complete whatever the task" person. To the Copeland Family, keep trusting in the Lord, because He will take us through whatever He brings us to.
