Paula Juanice Watts-Hicks, 48, a Grambling State University Administrative Assistant, of Chatham, Louisiana, passed on Thursday February 7, 2012 at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Monroe. Open Visitation will be on Tuesday February 12, 2013, from 1:00 P.M.– 5:30 P.M. at King's Funeral Home in Ruston. The family of Ms. Paula Watts-Hicks invites family & friends to a Twilight Service, which will be held on from 6:00 P. M. – 8:00 P. M. in the B. E. King Memorial Chapel of King’s Funeral Home in Ruston. Homegoing Celebration Services will be held Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Chatham, Louisiana, with Reverend Ricky Myles, Officiating. The Committal and Burial Services will immediately follow in the Mt. Mariah Cemetery of Chatham, Louisiana

My prayers are with you in this time of bereavement. I too share in this great loss for Paula was a dear friend to me and her son's to my children as well. I will miss the telephone calls and the sound of her voice and laughter. I'm glad I had the opportunity to know her as a friend and colleague. Until we meet again, my friend!!!
