Martha will be missed by all the knew her. She
worked for my family for as long as I can
remember. We would all ways laugh and have the
best time when we got together. I would call her
every so often to check on her and she would
always say "what you got me". Every time I would
see her, I would give her a little something and
she would be thrilled. I went to see her a
couple years ago and she gave me a little boy
holding a fishing pole. I have it out by my pool
and tell everyone about my special friend Martha
and how much I loved her. She was one of a kind
and will be missed. Prayer for your family
Martha as they go through this difficult time. |

So sorry to hear of your lose. Martha worked for
my mother when we were little. I remember all
the times that I would sit in front of the
ironing board and hear the story of Hansel and
Gretel, Little Red Riding Hood, The Three Pigs
and the list just goes on and on. She made it so
real and we never took our eyes off her. What a
lovely lady she was. After we were grown, with
children of our own, she would play with them.
She was somewhat scared of my daddy and on this
particular day when she came to visit and was
playing with the my children, I noticed they
were catching crawfish with some type of a
"catcher". Upon closer look, Martha had taken
the screens off the windows, cut them up and
fastened them to a stick so the kids would have
something to scoop with. All my siblings there
immediately took the "catchers" away and hid
them before Daddy could see what she had done.
We never said a word. We loved that lady so
much. May God bless you all in the days, weeks,
and months ahead as you go on without her. |
