Mrs. Margaret W. Richard, 82, a Retired University Records Coordinator, formerly of Ruston, Louisiana passed on Sunday September 25, 2011 at the Harper Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Open Visitation will be Friday September 30, 2011 from 1:00 P.M. - 5 P. M. at King's Funeral Home in Ruston, Louisiana. The Richard Family will receive family and friends from 10:00 A.M.- 10:45 P.M. prior to services on Saturday at the St. Peter Baptist Church in Ruston. Mrs. Richard's Homegoing Celebration Services will be held Saturday October 1, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the St. Peter Baptist Church in Ruston, Louisiana, with Reverend Trevor Barber, Officiating. Committal Services and Burial will immediately follow in the St. Peter Church Cemetery of Ruston, Louisiana.

 

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation or the Alzheimer's Association in Mrs. Margaret W. Richard's Honor.
