Ms. Johnnie Beatrice Bursey, 69, a Retired Southern University Professor of Business, of Shreveport, Louisiana passed on Monday November 12, 2012 at the Christus Schumpert Hospital in Shreveport. Open Visitation will be on Friday November 16, 2012, from 2:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M. at King's Funeral Home in Homer. Ms. Bursey's Homegoing Celebration Services will be held Saturday November 17, 2012 at Noon in the H. H. King Memorial Chapel of King's Funeral Home in Homer with Reverend David Heard, Officiating. The Committal and Burial Services will immediately follow in the St. John Church Cemetery of Homer, Louisiana
