I owe Uncle Isiah great gratitude for being one of
the numerous elders who taught me the value of
family. I have memories of Uncle Isiah assisting my
grandparents on their farm when my grandfather fell
ill. I also remember him as serving tirelessly as a
Deacon. Uncle Isiah will be missed; however, he is
now enjoying peace and serenity with God. May God
bless Uncle Isiah’s wife, Aunt Annie Ruth, his
children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

God is our refuge and strength, and ever-present
help in trouble. Psalm 46:1 We all wish to avoid the
tragedies of life. But when we do face hard times,
our greatest help come from trusting God, our sure
hope in the land of What If. As I grieve the passing
of a true soldier and friend, I have the assurance
that he loved Jesus and his earthly family. He will
never be forgotten. Thank God for a long
lived-blessed life. My sincere condolences to the
