What we have once enjoyed, we can never lose.
All that we love deeply becomes part of us. I
was deeply saddened by the news of Mr. Elmore
Mayfield passing. My heartfelt condolences go
out to you and your family. Although no words
can really help to ease the loss you bear, just
know that you are very close in every thought
and prayers.
Blesses are those who mourn, for they shall be
comforted. (Matthew 5:4)
So also you have sorrow now, but I will see you
again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one

I am so sad that my friend Elmore has passed
away. He was a good man and a leader in our
community. We will be praying for the Mayfield

To My Dear Sister and Nieces
Every part of me is with you right now sharing
your grief, I pray that God with hold you close
in his loving Arms until I get home to be with
you. Elmore will be greatly miss from so many
areas of our lives. He was a man that wore many
hats to help his fellow man.
Little did we know that morning that God would
call his name. In life we loved him dearly, in
death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose him, he did not go
alone. For part of us went with him the day God
called him home.
He left us peaceful memories his love is still
our guide. And though we cannot see him, he is
always on our side. Our family chain is broken
and nothing seems the same.
But as God calls us one by one, the chain will
link again.

Ringgold High School Class of 1984.-- Mr
Mayfield was my Civics teacher, I learned so
much from this kind, fun-loving man! He will be
missed and will always be remembered as a
favorite teacher, even though he could never
pronounce my name correctly! Ha-Ha! My prayers
for his wife, daughters, and family that God
will give them strength in the tough days ahead!
