I know God is in control, but David's passing has been a
larger challenge for me than many others. To God be the

heartbreaking news. David was one of my very dedicated
and gifted doctoral students, who worked hard and loved
learning. I remember having some very serious
educational leadership discussions with him along side
of some really light-hearted conversations. I
