To the family,

We would like to send our condolences. May your family find comfort and hope in the promises made by Jehovah, "the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials, so that we may be able to comfort others."(2 Corinthians 1:3,4)Jehovah is our "Lifegiver."(Psalms 36:9)He did not intend for humans to live for just a few years and then to die. He hates death. He calls it "the last enemy."(1 Corinthians 15:26)Because Jehovah feels this way about death, he made an arrangement to end sickness and death. His Son, Christ Jesus is a Key figure in that arrangement. The arrangement that Jehovah made long ago, reveals much about Jehovah's love and mercy for us all. "For God loved the world so much, he gave his only-begotten Son, so that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed, but have everlasting life."(John 3:16)Soon, Jehovah "will swallow up death forever."(Isaiah 25:8)Then, "all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out."(John 5:28, 29)To learn how Jehovah will end sickness and death, please visit: www.JW.org.
