CONDOLENCES

Mr & Mrs Leonard Haskin

Even though we did not know Mr. Drayton personally, we get a sense that he left a legacy for God, commitment to family and responsiveness to those in need. I am sure he will be missed by those who knew and loved him and cherish his memory. To the Drayton family and his grandson, my good friend Darryl Hodges, I say to you "sorrow not as other which have no hope..for if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them which also sleep in Jesus will God bring with him." "Death is swallowed up in victory." and we will see "Zeke" again. Therefore, "comfort one another with these words." God bles you and keep you and comfort your hearts.

Cousin Zeke. Words can not express the pain that I feel. He was as much a part of my life as my mom and dad and it breaks my heart to know that he too is gone. I will never forget going to his and Cousin Bob's house after church.

You have done so much, you've raised us all and now to you GOD calls. Saying goodbye is asking too much of me, but thank you so much for your legacy. Thank you for days of playing at your house and racing me to the fence and thank you for my continuing love of soft peppermint. I will never forget you or the love you've shown to me. but it hurts too much to say goodbye you see, so instead I say give my love to mom, dad, cedric, Cousin Bob, Cousin Norman and Cousin Claudia Rea. I love you.

My deepest sympathy go out to your family during this time of sorrow. The death of a love one is very difficult. Therefore, I'd like to share scripture that may help. Please, read John 6:40, 44 and Ps. 36:9.
